Born March 6, 1971 in Colville, Washington to Ershal Haynes and Barbara Daniels (Gunter), Fonnetta Ann Sweeney passed away unexpectedly Sunday, March 3, 2024. In 1989 Fonnetta graduated high school from Johnsons Christian School and in 1993, she received her Cosmetology license and went to work at ‘A Kut Above’ in Colville, WA. Marrying Michael Allan Sweeney in 1994, Fonnetta became a homesteader and a fantastic ‘Domestic Engineer’. Outgoing, funny, empathetic, passionate and loyal, Fonnetta liked digital scrapbooking, cooking, sewing, photography, gardening and foraging. She was caring, energetic and loved being a grandmother. Fonnetta was the glue that kept the family together. Fonnetta is survived by her husband, Michael Allan Sweeney of Liberty Lake, WA; one son Alex Michael Sweeney of Spokane; three daughters, Kassandra Danielle Ambach (Sweeney) of Newman Lake, Melissa Kate Sweeney of Liberty Lake and Makayla Faith ShiLei Sweeney of Liberty Lake; one sister, Debra Ann Ford of Spokane; her mother, Barbara Ann Daniels (Gunter); two grandchildren Wyatt Nolan Ambach and Madison Charlotte Ambach. Fonnetta was preceded in death by her, father Ershal Haynes; daughter, Natasha Rachelle; grandchildren Kinsley Ann and Kaeden Michael.
