James E. Ward

In the comfort of his home, surrounded by children and family, it was a sendoff that many would long for.  James E Ward began his eternal life with the Lord on May 20, 2017. He is survived by 3 sons: Joe (Lisa), Michael (Maya), & JP, 5 daughters: Maria (Anthony), Sara (Marc), Caroline, Mary, & Christine.  He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.  He leaves four sisters: Linda (Bob), Celia, Dorma (Chris), & Anna-Margaret (Rick).  He is preceded in death by Trudy (mother), Ed (stepfather), Cecil (father), Martha (stepmother), 2 sisters: Shirley (Bob), & Betty (Eddie).

Jim was a simple man with an extraordinary way of showing love, sacrificing his feelings to give others comfort.  He was a hardworking father, an amazing grampa, a faithful friend, an honest man, and an unbiased counselor.  After all, “It’s good enough for who it’s for!”

“Well, I’m not gonna keep you too long!,” however, a celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, September 9, 11am, at Hennessey Valley Funeral Home & Crematory.
