She married her husband Charles F. Kirby Jr. (2010) in Belmont, MA, on October 6, 1951.

She was survived by her son Donal H. (Cheryl) Kirby of Athol, ID, and their children: Amanda, Shawn, and Allison Kirby; and daughter Cynthia Berghoff (Troy Poe) of Yakima, WA, and her children: Christian (Michelle), Hans, and Nicholas Berghoff.

A private family service will be held.
