John Adrian Klomp

Johnny A Klomp (age 78) of Liberty Lake, WA, went to be with his wife Bev and his daughter Ronda on December 5, 2017, from complications from COPD.  He was born February 17, 1939, in Chicago to Harry and Helen Klomp. Johnny was employed with the Burlington Northern-Santa Fe Railroad as a conductor, retiring after 35 years. He loved to play golf and spend time on his house boat on Lake Coeur d’Alene with his family. He was also an avid outdoorsman and was a member of multiple golf associations including the Valley Eagles. Johnny is survived by his daughter Tammy Hotchkiss, son Scott Klomp, son-in-law Vance Emerson, sister-in-law Jackie Klomp (Fred); grandchildren Jessica, Kristen, Vance and Nikki and numerous great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Harry and Helen Klomp, wife Bev, daughter Ronda Jo Emerson, brother Fred Klomp, sisters Sylvia Clift and JoAnn Fletcher, brothers-in-law Bill Clift and Gordon Fletcher. A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, 11am, Hennessey Valley Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 N Pines, Spokane Valley, WA.
