Kenneth William McCoy

Kenneth William McCoy, a proud veteran of the United States Army, passed away April 6, 2024, of natural causes.

The son of Bruce and Anna McCoy, Ken was born November 18, 1943 in Burton, OH.

Ken enlisted in the United States Army in 1965 and served in Vietnam working on assault helicopters until 1967. He then served in Standby Reserves until 1971. He valued this service highly and attained the rank of SP4.

Ken is survived by his wife Cheryl, daughters: Jaime (Roy), Kendra (Brent), Jill (Ryan) and his grandchildren Jackson, Ella, Makenzie, Hayden, Nathan and Reese.  Ken is also survived by his brothers Harold (Linda), Enoch, and Timothy (Kathleen), their children and grandchildren.

Military Honors will be at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery, immediate family only.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 11th, from 1-3pm at the Spokane Valley Eagles, 16801 E Sprague Ave., Spokane Valley, WA  99037.
