Vernita Mae August

Vernita August, 82, passed away on July 18, 2017. Vernita was proceeded in death by her husband Tony, son Wayne Chapman, and two sisters, Marilyn Christensen and Bette Fullmer, and her parents. She is survived by her children Cindy Burkey, Steve Bostwick and Marilyn Ponti, and step-sons  Mike and Scott August. She is also survived by her brothers Delbert and Gary Miller. She had six grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice House South. Graveside services will be held Friday, July 21, at Holy Cross Cemetery at 2 PM.
