Tribute

Amber Lynn was our angel; now she is with the angels. Amber went to be with her Lord on Saturday, November, 17, 2018. She was born on January 4, 1987. Amber is survived by her husband Eric, son Lucas, mother Debbie, father James, grandmother Verla, sister Amanda, brothers Jeffery and Dannion, her very close mother-in-law Naomi, father-in-law Steve, grandmother Doloris, and brother-in-law Michael.

Amber Lynn was a precious daughter, granddaughter, a caring sister, a loving beautiful wife and mother. She cherished every moment with her family and was very close to her nieces and nephews. Animals were a big part of her life and she was a big supporter of breast cancer awareness. Amber had a very big heart and showed kindness to many. Amber Lynn is deeply missed but always in our hearts.

Amber had many hobbies. Among her favorites was playing pinochle with her family. She enjoyed playing softball from a very young age. She also loved to color. Music was very dear to her heart. She had a beautiful voice and enjoyed singing often. Amber loved going to church at Hillyard Baptist Church and had a close relationship with Jesus.

Some of Amber’s favorite foods were McDonald’s, Burger King Whoppers, chocolate, and anything chocolate-mint. She loved writing poems, giving hugs, and snuggling. Amber loved everyone very much and she is loved very much. We’ve gained an angel who will always be with us.

Footprints in the Sand

One night I dreamed I was walking
along the beach with the Lord,
many scenes of my life flashed across the sky.

In each scene, I noticed footbprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were two sets of footprints,
other times there were one set of footprints.

This bothered me because I noticed the low periods of my life,
when I was suffering anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could only see one set of footprints.

So I said to the Lord, “You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you, you would walk with me always.
But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life
there have only been one set of footprints in the sand.
Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”

The Lord replied, “The times when you have seen only
one set of footprints, is when I carried you.”
