Ann Katherine Holcomb

Ann Holcomb passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 11th.  Born in Spokane, Washington to Frank and Meri Rizzuto, she was the third of four children, Rose Ressa, Frances Garcea older sisters that preceded her in death and Jack Rizzuto, her younger brother, who survives her. Ann was a graduate of Rogers High School in Spokane and married John (Jack) Holcomb on June 26, 1948.  Ann had been widowed from Jack for ten years. Ann will be deeply missed by her four children, Meri Ann Steiger of Spokane, Carol Millard of Hobe Sound, FL, Tom Holcomb of Spokane and Allen Holcomb of Spokane and their four spouses, David Steiger, Jim Millard, Jackie Holcomb, Christina Holcomb and her 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren that brought her great joy. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at the Colonial Court Assisted Living for the 3 years of loving care they provided to Ann and always making her family feel welcome.  Also, a special thank you to Hospice of Spokane for the additional care they provided during her last few weeks of life. Funeral services for Ann will be at Hennessey Valley Funeral Home, 1315 N. Pines Rd, on Friday, July 20th, at 2pm.
