Barbara Ann Creed, 75, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023, in Spokane, Washington. She was born to Herbert Nels Hansen and Jeanne Marie Hansen on September 21, 1947, in Morristown, New Jersey.

Barbara graduated from Grants Pass High School in Grants Pass, Oregon. She earned her Livestock Master degree from Washington State University. She later earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Northwest College of Art in Poulsbo, Washington.

Barbara married Thomas Creed in Burbank, California on August 19, 1966. They were then sealed in the Los Angeles Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on April 26, 1969.

As an artist, Barbara loved knitting, quilting, tole painting, and the Fine Arts. Barbara was very active and loved the beauty of nature. She enjoyed camping, bird watching, fly fishing, swimming on the swim team, and being a lifeguard. She was a member of 4-H and enjoyed raising sheep. She also was a member the Tole Painting Guild and Tugboat Tolers. She cherished her membership in the Church.

Barbara was heavily involved in Girl Scouts and was in charge of many different events. One time she ran into a Girl Scout and her mom at the grocery store.
