Bonnie C Shaw

Bonnie Claire Shaw, age 92, entered her Heavenly Home December 5, 2021.  She was born January 5, 1929 in Helena, Montana to Harvey Sr. and Julia Corn.  She married the love of her life, Harvey Shaw on August 21, 1950 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Spokane.  Her beloved husband Harvey preceeded her in death October 7, 2014. When Bonnie was a teenager, her family moved from Noxon, Montana to Spokane.  She attended Central Valley High School and graduated in 1946. Bonnie had several secretarial jobs, including Harms Rofinot Chevrolet and James T Bertis Realty.  She found her true calling in 1986 when she went to work as Office Manager at St. Anne Children’s home.  More than a job it brought her much joy and fulfillment.  She retired in 1992. Some of Bonnies’ passions were traveling with Harvey, cake decorating, dancing, roller-skating, driving for the blind, stitchery, calligraphy and cheering on the Zags!  She loved her church, and spent many hours volunteering and participating in church activities. Bonnie was a dedicated wife, mother and Grandma and embraced every moment with her family. She is the loving mother of Dan (Anne) Shaw, Mike Shaw, Patti (Allen) Bergman, Jim (Trina) Shaw, Lex (Jake) Eschenbacher and John Shaw.  Bonnie has 12 Grandchildren and 13 great Grandchildren. Along with her husband, Harvey, Bonnie was preceeded in death by her parents Harvey Sr. and Julia Corn; brothers Harvey Jr. and John Corn; sisters Joyce Fiedler and Ree Chambers. The family would like to offer special thanks to the Betty Krumland family, Sheila Nance for always being there, Jackie Schmick, Orchard Crest and Hospice of Spokane (South). The Memorial Service will take place Saturday January 15, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 503 N.
