Craig passed away peacefully on August 26, 2023, with loved ones around him. He was born October 10, 1963, to Tim and Nila Connors in Spokane, Washington. He attended and played all sports at St. Paschal’s school and Lewis and Clark High School where he graduated from in 1982. In high school he excelled in football and baseball. During his senior football year, he was voted MVP of the League and 1st Team All City defense and offense. He went on to play football and baseball at E.W.U. on scholarship. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and Nascar races. He loved the summers in Pasco, WA with the Smiley family and made many good memories. He also had many adventures with Kevin and Tony in the St. Paschal’s days. He loved his dogs as they were his family.
Craig is survived by his father Tim Connors of Spokane, WA; sisters Kim (Willy) Longhofer of Spokane, WA, and Amy (Craig) Wickstrom of Fox Island, WA; and three nieces and one nephew. Craig was proceeded in death by his mother Nila Connors, his wife, and dogs Wally, Cody, Tank, and Boomer.
The Mass of Christian Burial will take place 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 8, 2023 at St. Paschal Catholic Church, 2523 N. Park Rd., Spokane Valley, WA followed by a reception in the cafeteria. The Committal will take place 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, 17825 E. Trent Ave., Spokane Valley. To leave condolences for the family, please visit Craig's Tribute Wall.
