Daniel James Entel

Daniel James Entel, 61, passed away unexpectedly on March 7, 2023.  The world has lost a kind and gentle soul.  Dan (or Danny) was born December 12, 1961, and was the youngest of four children born to Omer and Carolyn Entel.  He was the quintessential “baby brother” to his siblings Bill, Cheryl, and Rob.  He was also a doting uncle to his niece and nephews.  He loved them and they loved him right back. Dan enjoyed cooking and gardening.  Dan loved his music!  He loved to stay up late to play his guitar…heaven has a new band member! 

Dan was preceded in death by his father, Omer (who we know was ready to greet him the moment he entered those heavenly gates, along with his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins who went before him.  He is survived by his mother, Carolyn, his brother William (Rose), sister Cheryl (Bruce), and brother Robert (Lavina). 

There will be a Rosary on Friday, March 24, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 a.m. at St Peter Catholic Church, 3520 E 18th Ave., Spokane, WA.   We invite family and friends to come join us in celebrating Dan’s life.  We will miss you, Dan!  We love you!
