David Ernest Coy

Born January 18, 1949 in Spokane, Washington to Ernest and Evelyn Coy, David Ernest Coy passed away peacefully at home Friday, December 2, 2022 in Newman Lake, Washington. After graduating from University High School and attending Eastern Washington University, David promptly entered the U.S. Navy in June of 1968, honorably serving his country on the USS Mark as a Radio Operator.  He married Janene “Jenny” Coy in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho August 27, 1984 and celebrated their honeymoon boating up the St. Joe River. An avid sportsman with a heart of gold who loved hunting and fishing, David was well-known as a long time employee working for Rosauers Grocery stores.   David is survived by his wife Jenny Coy; three sons Chad (Heather) Coy, Terry (Rachelle) Coy and Greg Coy;  one sister Pat Davis; five grandchildren Garrett, Sterling, Peyton, Chase and Shelby.  David was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Evelyn Coy and one brother Gary Coy.
