Dr David Francis Stafford

As a lifelong resident of Millwood, Washington, Dr. David Francis Stafford passed away peacefully at his home Saturday, December 29, 2018.  Having earned a PhD in Physics, David was at a professor at Gonzaga University for many years, who had a passion for the classics in music.  Whether visiting his home or driving with him in the car, David would often have music playing by his favorite composers such as Mussorgsky, Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass, Rachmaninoff and Beethoven, just to name a few.  A romantic at heart David fell in love with Sylvia, who became his wife, and sadly passed away many years prior in December of 1996.  He leaves behind four children Paul (Tammy), Lisa (Dwight Newberg), Matthew and Susan; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.  A Memorial Service for David is scheduled to take place at Hennessey Valley Funeral Home, 1315 North Pines; Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. followed by a reception.  To share memories of David or leave condolences for the family, please visit www.hennesseyvalley.com Tributes page.
