Doris was well known for a smile and hospitality. All who visited  her home knew how quickly she insisted you sit and have a little something to eat. Her home was always a place of comfort and love she enjoyed housekeeping, cooking, and caring for her family and spoiling her grandkids. Most will remember her candy cupboard; also the beautiful garden they kept for years of fruits and vegetables. She also enjoyed growing flowers one of her favorites the roses at the front of her house.

In 1966 Doris and Ernest bought a beautiful home together that is considered a landmark home.   The home was moved from Sprague to 23rd in 1971.   Years of memories in this home for family and friends.

About 6 years ago she sold her home and moved to Holman Gardens Retirement Home.   Her daughter Sandra and son Gregory were able to care for her in her apartment until the end.

Doris was dearly loved and we will miss her so much.  We look forward to death being no more. Revelation 21:4
