Everette "Lewie" Cosens

Born June 4, 1946, in Albany, Oregon to Loren and Beaulah Cosens, Everette “Lewie” Cosens passed away from natural causes Tuesday, March 26, 2024, in Spokane Valley, Washington.  After having served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War from 1965 through 1969, Everette went to Washington State University and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.  In the 1980’s, he lived five years in New Zealand where he graduated with a Masters in Business, from Massey University in Auckland. Everette was the Deputy Chief Audit Executive for the State of Washington and worked at several electric utilities in upper management positions.  A man who loved to travel, listen to and play music, Everette had a favorite saying, “That’s how it was, moving West.” Everette is survived by two sons, Sean Cosens and Logan Stone; one daughter, Angela Cosens; two brothers, Dennis and Guy; two sisters, Sherrie and Sue; and four grandchildre, Chase, Carlissa, Dylan and Jordan.  Everette was preceded in death by his parents, Loren and Beaulah Cosens and wife Margie.
