Geraldine Grosso Davies

Geraldine “Gerri” Davies, 83, passed away on May 7, 2022, in Spokane, Washington. Gerri was born to Frank Joseph Grosso and Ellen Gigante-Grosso on August 11, 1938, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

She is survived by her sons, David Davies and Jeffrey Davies; brother, Carmen Grosso; grandchildren, Julee Davies, Jeffrey Davies, Justin Davies, and Ashley Rousey. Her brothers, Gerald Grosso and Joseph Grosso, and her son, John Davies, preceded Gerri in death.

Gerri was proud of her Italian heritage and loved anything Italian. She was also a huge sports fan. She spent much of her life watching her family participate in sports and loved her Pittsburgh teams… “Here we go Steelers!” Gerri was a member of St. Mary’s parish since 1974.

Gerri always had a smile and made everyone around her smile too. She was an angel to her entire family but also to everyone she touched during her life. She offered her home to others who needed a place to stay and cared for many members of the Spokane community.

A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 25, 2022, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 304 S. Adams Rd, Spokane Valley, WA 99216.
