Helen I. Hearing

     It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend, Helen Hearing (101 years old).  Helen was born in Russell, Kansas in 1921 to Henry and Eva Bisterfeldt.  She joined a sister, Esther and two brothers, LeRoy and Raymond.  Helen married Lt. Oscar V. Hearing in Spokane, Washington in 1942.  They had four daughters, Katherine, Gaye, Deborah and Joan.  Helen was preceded in death by her parents, sister, two brothers, husband and oldest daughter.  Left behind to miss her are her remaining three daughters, five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nephews and their families.  The family wants to personally thank all the staff at Colonial Court for their care and compassion during her four year stay with them, and the caregivers of Hospice of Spokane during her final days.  Memorials can be sent to Hope Lutheran Church at 17909 East Broadway Ave., Spokane Valley, WA 99016.
