Jacqueline Irene Eide

August 27, 1930 ~ October 2, 2021 (age 91) 91 Years Old

Tribute

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Jacqueline Irene Eide, was ushered into her heavenly home and into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 2, 2021.

Born in Deer Lodge, Montana to Arthur Ernest DeAlton and Hazel E. Markley on August 27, 1930, Jacque resided in Spokane Valley for over 60 years. She married on August 20, 1955, and raised a beautiful family of two daughters, Lynne M. Jacob (Todd) and LeeAnn K. Eide, and a son, Dan J. Eide (Susan). She also has six grandchildren: Kevin and Tara Cole, Nicholas and Kate Jacob, Todd Eide, Heather Benn, and two great grandchildren: Cameron Benn and Addison Benn.

Jacque was a blessing to everyone who knew her. Her heart for others extended into her career making dreams come true for Spokane residents as a realtor for Windermere. She also devoted much of her time to volunteering at her church, Spokane Valley Church of the Nazarene, as well as for Windermere service projects and office events, the SCOPE program, and at her children’s schools.

She was a member of the Spokane Valley Garden Club and her local Republican Women’s Club. She also served as a Republican Precinct Committee Officer for many years. Musically gifted, she enjoyed playing the piano and organ, and continued to perfect her craft throughout her life.  She was a master gardener who loved spending time in her garden and helping her family and friends make their own gardens even more beautiful.

Jacque loved sharing her famous canned goods, brownies, and pumpkin squares with new neighbors, her friends and family, and at potlucks, Bible study groups and church gatherings. She was a wonderful friend to many, and she cherished those relationships.

Jacque was the kindest woman we’ve ever known. Her unconditional love for others shined brightly throughout her life, as did her generosity and her love for Jesus. Her heart’s desire was for her family to know, love, and serve Him, and to spend eternity together with Him. Jacque will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her, but what blessed assurance we have that we will see her again in glory!

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. – Romans 8:38-39
