Jeanette Marie Hicks, 60, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021, in Spokane, Washington. She was born to Freyja R. Riggs and George C. Fry on August 12, 1961, in Okanogan County, Washington.
Prior to moving to Spokane in 2006, Jeanette had lived in Omak and Brewster. She earned her Associates of Science in chemical dependency. Jeanette worked as a drug and alcohol counselor for American Behavioral Health Systems and was a CNA at NorthStar Adult Family Home. Jeanette loved camping and gardening, but her true passion was her grandchildren. She loved fiercely, always helped those she could, and was a friend to all.
Jeanette was survived by her sons, Jeremy Hellyer and Josh Hellyer; daughters, Jessica Yeager, Jeannie Thoren, and Joyous Theodorson; brothers, Steve Fry and Johnny Easley; sisters, Roberta Hust and Glenda Elders; 24 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Freyja Easley; father, George Fry; and sisters, Tammy Fry and Deanne Grey.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 4, 2021, at Pavillion Park, 727 N. Molter Rd, Liberty Lake, WA 99019.
