Jodene Faye Powers

Born August 24, 1962 in Spokane, Washington to Danny and Margaret Kiourkas, Jodene (Jodi) Powers passed away Monday, April 25, 2022.  A graduate from Central Valley High School’s Class of 1980, Jodi attended Eastern Washington University, receiving her AA degree as a Respiratory Therapist and working at Deaconess Hospital until 2003.  After Deaconess Jodi became a Senior Account Manager for Life Care Solutions where she retired in 2017.  Jodi was a force of love and positivity, finding joy in small treasures including a great cup of coffee or a good glass of wine.  She loved golfing, hanging out at Priest Lake, half-marathons, spending time with family, especially grandkids.  She had an infectious smile and made this world a better place.  Jodi is survived by her husband, Terry Powers of Liberty Lake, WA; one son Adam Hesseltine, Seattle, WA; one daughter Amanda Tayne, Spokane Valley, WA; two brothers Rob Yeoman and Nick Kiourkas, both of Spokane, WA; six Grandchildren and her mother Margaret Kiourkas of Liberty Lake, WA.  A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 4th, 11:00 a.m. at Advent Lutheran Church, 13009 East Broadway Ave., Liberty Lake, WA.  The family has requested Memorial gifts be made to PanCan www.pancan.org.  To leave condolences for the family, please visit Jodene's Tribute Wall.
