Jon Richardson

Michael “Jon” Richardson of Spokane, Washington was born August 4, 1956 in Alameda, California, the son of Alton and Jacqueline Richardson. He died on April 30, 2021 at his home in Spokane, Washington at the age of sixty-four.

He graduated from Alameda High school in 1974. He married Jerri Jo Neuman and was blessed with a daughter Denise and son Michael. Jon spent over 40 years in the Landscape Irrigation Management field. In 1996 Jon moved from Alameda, California to Hayden, Idaho and eventually resided in Spokane, Washington. Jon was a Freemason and reached the level of 3rd Degree.

In his spare time, Jon enjoyed fishing, golfing, concerts, Oakland Raiders, Gonzaga Bulldogs games and watching races of his grandson Jeremy Doss. He loved his dog Yogi very much, but there was nothing more precious to Jon than his family.

Jon proceeded in death by his parents; one brother and one brother in law. He leaves behind his daughter, Denise Lynn Doss (Mike) of Kelseyville, California, son Michael Jon Richardson Jr. of Livermore, California. He also leaves the following 2 grandchildren, Jeremy Doss, and Andrew Garcia and his beloved dog “Yogi.”

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Sunday August 1, 2021 at Hennessey Valley Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 N. Pines Rd, Spokane Valley, WA 99206.
