Jon Edric Shenstone MacLean Lloyd

Jon (Jay) E.S.M. Lloyd passed away peacefully in his sleep, at the age of 91. He spent his last days with family and friends. He was born on July 12, 1926, in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Although well traveled as a young adult, he lived in Spokane Valley for most his adult life. Jay was a well-respected civil engineer who worked on many major projects in and around the Inland Northwest. He enjoyed painting landscapes and dancing. His eldest son Randy preceded him in death. Jay is survived by his children: Jennifer, Christopher, Sarah, Kim, Carolyn, and thirteen grandchildren. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, August 19, 11am, at Hennessey Valley Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 N. Pines Rd., Spokane Valley, with a reception to follow.
