Kenneth Lindley Baldwin was born on June 15, 1961, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. After many years of struggling with Congestive Heart Failure and complications from Diabetes, he passed away on November 11, 2021, at the age of 60 in Spokane, WA. Considering his service in the United States Navy, it was appropriate that he died on Veterans Day.
Ken was a beloved son, brother and uncle who was especially happy when there were little kids in the family. He was the “piggy back” provider and “tickle monster” to all his nieces and nephews – and as time passed, for their children as well. The loves of his life were his family (including all the pets), fishing, working on cars and playing video games.
Ken was preceded in death by his fathers Al Baldwin (1988) and Bill Wheatley (2017), his brother-in-law Richard Bonwell (2020) and sister Sharon Bonwell (2021). He is survived by his mother Edith M. Wheatley, sister Martha Lou (Steve) Wheatley-Billeter, brother Greg Baldwin, nephews Trent (Shelly) Bonwell and Travis Bonwell, nieces Sharid (Ken) Pattarnon, Ashley Baldwin, Britaney Baldwin, Courtney Baldwin, and their children.
A service with military honors is scheduled for Tuesday, 1:00 P.M. November 30th at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery, 21702 West Espanola Rd., Medical Lake, WA 99022. To share memories of Ken and leave condolences for the family, visit Ken's Tribute Wall.
