October 7, 1966 ~ September 26, 2022 (age 55) 55 Years Old

Tribute

Lisa M. Wigen (Dean) passed away on September 26th, 2022, at the age of 55 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane, WA.  Lisa was born to Darral and Shirley Dean (Reger) on October 7th, 1966, in Glasgow, MT where her father was stationed while in the Air Force.  She attended Shawnee Mission Northwest High School in Shawnee, KS where she became very involved with drama and choir, she loved to sing.  After high school Lisa enrolled into the University of Kansas, where she spent one year before leaving to work at a Lane Bryant store in Kansas City, eventually becoming manager.  She moved to the Spokane, WA area where her mother and uncle operated Valley View Golf Course in Liberty Lake, where she met the father of her children.  She spent time helping at the golf course while working at Blessings Tavern in the Spokane  Valley, before getting married in 1989. Lisa had two children and became manager at The Guardian for several years in Spokane before her divorce.  She went on to work at Premera Blue Cross before moving to Cosmopolis, WA some years later where she began working for a Veterinary group in Olympia. Lisa made the decision in 2021 to move back to Spokane to be closer to family and her grandchildren and bought a home here where she spent the remainder of her time. She loved the ocean, cooking, gardening, her family, and her cats.  She enjoyed the casino and playing slot machines, as she was the luckiest person you’d ever meet.  She could talk to, and make friends with absolutely anyone, and would help a stranger if she could.  Lisa had a huge heart; she was a social butterfly and was loved by many people. She will be dearly missed. Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, Shirley and Darral. Lisa is survived by her son, Austin Wigen and his fiancé Tayler, her daughter, Brianna Wigen, and her Grandchildren Truitt, Pepper, and Briggs.  Lisa is also survived by her step father, Edward Luedtke and her sister, Shelly Dean-Shaw, her husband Robert Shaw, and their daughter Sophie Shaw.  To share memories and leave condolences for the family, visit Lisa's Tribute Wall.
