Lynn Estelle Cousineau, 70, passed away on February 5, 2024, in Spokane, Washington. She was born to Jack and Darline Kendall on December 9, 1953, in Richland, WA. In 1972, Lynn graduated from Kennewick High School in Kennewick, WA. She continued her education and in 1986, earned her AA degree in Radiation Protection Technology from Columbia Basin College in Pasco, WA.

Lynn married Ronald Paul Cousineau, in May 1976, and together they raised two children, Nicole and Bryan in Pasco. Lynn and Ron were married for 32 years when Ron passed away in 2008. After Ron’s passing, Lynn moved to Cheney, WA, where she lived until 2023, when she moved to Spokane. Lynn had a 20-year career (1984-2004) as a rural carrier for the Richland Post Office of the United States Postal Service.

She enjoyed watching movies, doing jigsaw puzzles, playing pinochle, and reading books, especially Stephen King and Tom Clancy novels. Lynn was always very social and made friends wherever she went. She was a regular at Xanny’s Western Bar & Grill, where she knew everyone and worked as a hostess on occasion during her retirement years.

Lynn is survived by her daughter, Nicole (Gerrit) Hayes of Spirit Lake, ID, and their child, Vivian; Bryan (Crystal) Cousineau of Gig Harbor, WA, and their children Kennedy and Ethan; mother, Darline Kendall of Casa Grande, AZ; and sisters, Lona Kendall of Casa Grande, Leslie Kendall of Boise, ID, and Lisa Kendall of Casa Grande. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Kendall; husband, Ronald Cousineau; parents-in-law, Paul and Vivian Cousineau; and companion, Bruce Williams.
