Tribute

Our beloved Mom and Grandma passed away peacefully at her Spokane Valley home on March 11. She was the youngest of five children raised by Dann and Anna Fair. A lifelong resident of the Spokane area, she married Floyd Brown May 8, 1963 at Fairchild AFB and the couple was happily together till April 23, 2007 when Floyd passed away. She was also preceded in death by son Alex in 1999. Marge is survived by her son Rick (Lucy) Brown and daughter Ginger (Lee) Bailey, both of Spokane. Alex’s wife Tammy of Spokane Valley has remained a loved member of the family. Grandma was always ready for tea parties or fun and games with grandchildren Daniel, Steven, Lori, Rochelle, Jessica, Nikki, Tosha, and William III. Mom loved to travel with Lee and Ginger on European vacations to fulfil her bucket list to see the Vatican, the Pope, the Last Supper, and the Rosetta Stone in the British museum in London even if she came back broken.  Marge was well known as a tireless worker at Valley Bowl and Players n’ Spectators. She was a true blue Seahawk fan and an original cowbell ringer at Shock games who honored her championship teams with team logo tattoos, one on each calf. While no tattoo was given to Gonzaga, Marge enjoyed watching Bulldog basketball. Yelling “Bobber gone” was her biggest joy while steelhead fishing on the Snake River to see if she could out fish her son-in-law. Please join her family and wear the colors of her favorite teams on Sunday March 25 at a Celebration of Life potluck at her home of 40+ years at 1:00 pm.
