Michael Sean VanDenBerg

Born December 17, 1955 in Sandpoint, Idaho, to Richard and Bernice VanDenBerg, their son Michael Sean VanDenBerg passed away peacefully in his sleep December 24, 2018 in the Green Acres home he and his wife, Karen, have shared for 40 years.  Married April 15, 1975 to Karen Harder, Michael graduated from college with honors in Auto Body & Paint and worked throughout his life, owning a few companies in the auto body industry.  Good with his hands, Michael was also a skilled wood worker and gardener.  He loved to fish with his family, listen to music, go antiquing and watch football and Nascar.  Known as a man with many hats, Michael will be most remembered for being non-judge mental of others and 'giving the shirt off his back' to anyone in need.  He was a wise, caring, loving, loyal and patient, always providing unwavering, dedicated support to his family and his favorite aunt, Mary Hoyle.  Preceded in death by his mother Bernice, Michael is survived by his wife, Karen;  Son, Tony; Daughter, Jennifer Weigate; Three brothers Dana, James and John; Four sisters Cynthia, Theresa Nicole and Jolene;  His father Tony VanDenBerg; Grand Children Kimberly, Matthew, Arlene, Paige, Kaden, Kyleigh and Great Grandson Tyson Bentley.    A Celebration of Life is being planned for the summer of 2019.  To share your memories of Michael or leave condolences for the family, please visit the guestbook.
