Pavel Stepanovich Kopets

Pavel Kopets was born on February 23rd, 1943, in Velikaye Maleshevo, Belarus to Stepan Kopets and Agrippa Kopets (both deceased). In Belarus Pavel was able to finish school. He was a great welder and great farmer. At the age of 18 he served in the army as a Sargent for a few years. Later, Pavel then met Vera Florianovich in Belarus and they were married. Together they had nine wonderful children. In the year of August 19th, 1989, Pavel, Vera and all their children immigrated to America. In America Pavel obtained a few hobbies he became a beekeeper, went fishing, enjoyed walks with his wife, and spent majority of his time with his children and grandchildren. Pavel was always involved in church he was even appointed as deacon. Most of all, Pavel loved the Lord and would spend most of his time praying, praising, and worshipping. The Lord gifted him with a beautiful voice. He was a blessing to all those around him.          

Павел Копец родился 23 февраля 1943 года в городе Большое Малешево, Беларусь, в семье Степана и Агриппы Копец (оба умерли). В Беларусии Павел закончил школу. Он был отличным сварщиком и фермером. В возрасте 18 лет он был призван в армию. Позже Павел и Вера Флорианович поженились. Вместе у них было девять замечательных детей. 19 августа 1989 года Павел, Вера и все их дети иммигрировали в Америку. Павел был пчеловодом, любил рыбачить, большую часть времени проводил с детьми и внуками. Павел всегда занимался церковью, и был рукоположен на дьяконское служение. Больше всего Павел любил Господа и большую часть времени проводил в молитвах, прославлении и поклонении. Господь наградил его прекрасным голосом. Он был благословением для всех, кто его окружал.     

Pavel Stepanovich Kopets, 80, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023, in Spokane, Washington.

A viewing will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Hennessey Valley Funeral Home, 1315 N Pines Rd, Spokane Valley. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. After the funeral, the graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. at the Freeman Evergreen Cemetery, 14990 Washington 27, Rockford, WA 99030.
