Rachel Faye Bowles, 22, passed away on December 12th in Spokane. She was born on March 6, 1996 in Spokane, Washington, to Mark and Traci (Howard) Bowles. She graduated at University High School in 2014, attended Eastern Washington University and worked at Ferraro’s Family Italian Restaurant in Spokane Valley who she regarded as her second family.
Rachel’s biggest accomplishment was her genuine, sincere heartfelt love of all people where there was room and compassion for everyone. She was the first to love, the first to give, the first to protect, and the first to forgive. In school Rachel was active in sports, getting people involved, and had a huge friend base in which they always supported each other.
Rachel loved camping, fishing, swimming, building fires, music, and especially the water, in particular, Lake Roosevelt and the Spokane River, looking for any opportunity to skinny-dip. She also loved holidays, Christmas and St. Patrick’s Day were her favorites. She was musically inclined and could play guitar, piano and drums.
Rachel is survived by her parents Mark Bowles, Traci Bowles-Russell; sister Lindsey Bowles; step-parent Doug Russell; and grandparents Teddie Bray and Carol Russell.
A celebration of Rachel’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 22, 2018, at Valley Assembly, 15618 E. Broadway Ave, Spokane Valley, with a reception to follow at at Darcy’s Restaurant, 10502 E. Sprague Ave, Spokane Valley. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Second Harvest Food Bank or Humane Society in Memory of Rachel Bowles.
The Family wishes to thank and bless all of those people who have showered us with so much love and support. We are so grateful to have you.
Please share memories of Rachel in the guestbook.
