Ray Villanueva

Raymond "Ray" Villanueva (61), passed away at home on October 11, 2017 after a long battle with cancer. Ray was born on November 15, 1955 at home in Hanson's Camp in Corcoran, CA to Elisa Luna Villanueva and Ray Villanueva. Ray was raised and attended school in Granger, WA. Ray was a Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker for 30 years and a small business owner for 7 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, wood working, metal working, gardening, mathematics, remodeling houses, electronics, fishing, biking, enjoying his grandchildren, and solitude. Ray is survived by his wife Sandy Juarez; his son Adrian Villanueva (Spokane); step daughter Shaishanna Neland (Boise); 6 grandchildren; one great grandchild; sisters Sally Ballard (Granger), Vicky Villanueva (Yakima), Rose Arzaga (Granger), and Elodia Lopez (Eugene, OR); numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday October 21st from 2-5 pm at Hennessey Valley Funeral Home & Crematory, 1315 N Pines Road, Spokane Valley, WA.
