Robert Allen “Bob” Cobb passed away December 21, 2019. He leaves his wife, Vivien, three sisters; Lorry Yates Burns, Margie Buell and Carol (Burnell) Paulson; stepsons, Joe (Stacey) and Tony (Sherry) Destefano, step daughter Celeste Wells; nine step grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Bob was born in 1936 in Salem OR and spent his childhood in Orofino ID. After high school, Bob moved to Spokane and worked as a mechanic, owning Spokane Transmissions. He later worked at Wendell Ford.
Bob was fond of fast cars (like his Corvette) and motorcycles. He enjoyed winning trophies for his cross country racing. He and a friend took a bike trip to AK. He stayed in touch with his biker friends and often got together with them for breakfast and catching up.
One of Bob’s favorite places was Lincoln City OR where he and Vivien visited many times. They also made several motorcycle trips to Mexico, but had to leave the bike behind when they vacationed in Vietnam, Costa Rica and the Polynesian Islands.
For many years Bob served as deacon in his Seventh-day Adventist church and was often called on to sing for church programs and funerals.
Bob looked forward to sitting down to breakfast again in Heaven with his motorcycle pals, dear family and friends.
Per Bob’s request, no services will be held.
Please share your memories of Bob on his Tribute Wall.
