We will be eternally grateful for Ron's love and devotion as a grandfather to our grandchildren and as one of the best friends we have ever known.
His countless hours creating and building the Art Campus of the Desert... will have us seeing him in every corner of this miracle property. He was part of this miracle.
We would like to honor him by having his name added to the new "Never to Be Forgotten Fountain" being dedicated on this coming Veterans Day. His name will be placed just below my dear late husband who I lost in Viet Nam in 1963.
His name will be there and his image will be remembered everywhere.
Thank you Ron ... and thank you Barb. We will continue to share holidays and wonderful memories. He would want that. Blessings and love...Victory and Richard.

Oh my oh my Barbara. I am so overwhelmed. So so so very sorry and heart-broken. I love that man. He is such a great model and such a high standard and example for so many of us men, Barbara. Ron was one of my very real heroes. So remarkable as a person of integrity, devotion, perseverance, commitment, etc etc etc. and sold out and radical for the LORD and such deep love for the LORD and for you and his highly treasured family. What a loss to you and your family and to us all truly. God bless you Barbara and all the Wilson family. I can hardly believe or comprehend this. I am so sorry. I will pass the word among our NextRx folks who knew and loved him. An amazing man. Oh my. I am so sad for you all at hearing this just now. Please let me know if there is anything that I can do for you all. I am available here in the area to do anything you need. Errands. Anything at all.

Are you planning a service somewhere and when? Is there something that Jackie and I can do to assist in anyway. When you figure these things out, please let us know.

"Oh LORD, I pray for Barbara right now and for their beautiful family and grandchildren and that you would grant them peace in knowing Ron is now in your loving arms and that You would work in all their hearts to draw all of the family closer to each other and to You, Almighty God."

I will tell Jackie right away and we will be praying for you all in these coming days.

Ron was a unique and special person. He owed a lot of his spiritual insights to his father-in-law. Ron had the ability to listen and offer direction and wise advice without taking offense if his advice was not followed. He was constantly busy, thinking and doing, whether it was at home or at work project. For example, in West Hills, CA he came home at lunch time to dig his swimming pool by hand. Our own house displays his handiwork in windows, record cabinet, electrical solutions, etc., while enjoying his visits. Ron was busy wherever he went, helping people with their electrical and construction problems. He enjoyed life.
Ron was active in West Hills church life, cooking for a men’s meetings, helping the church leaders and pastor, and solving issues. He loved to cook…fish and cook. During this time in California he completed his Master’s Degree at CSUN, most of the time riding a motorcycle to school.
We looked forward to Barb and Ron’s visits in California after they moved away to Washington and to Indio. Those were special times together. One visit they brought Andrew and Dana and their new daughter with them to the beach in Ventura. They often took in people with difficulty coping with life, including Ron’s own siblings. Several of the houses Ron build provided space for such occurrences. Ron wanted to give each of his children an inheritance and built, with help, a house for each in Bothell, WA.
Ron was a dedicated worker for his company. He worked on distribution connections, and automatic medicine dispensers for hospitals. He helped his friends install kiln/ovens and other items for the art projects in Indio. Remodeling houses were continuous projects he enjoyed. He was happiest when he could do things at minimum cost and often shopped with low cost in mind.
Ron and Barb are lifetime friends that everyone would delight to have. Ron, you will be missed, but we’ll reconnect someday. Our love and prayers for you all as you remember Ron.

We have great memories of the years we have known Ron. Meeting first at a church picnic in Chatsworth when Amy was in her playpen, we knew we were beginning a lasting friendship. Ron filled several roles in our small church. He inspired us by his work ethic, his commitment to God, and to his family. He gave wise counsel. We loved his sense of humor, his laugh, and his love of adventure. Rooms in our home show signs of his creativity in repairing doors, hinges, lamps, electronics… and so much more. He was humble, a good listener, a Godly example, and a good friend. We are thankful to have been a part of his and Barb’s lives.
