Trent grew up in Puyallup, Washington. While attending Pierce College in the fall of 2003, he was introduced to service in the funeral profession and began working at Curnow Funeral Home in Sumner, WA. His first work assignments for the funeral home were delivering paper death certificates to doctors offices, transporting families' loved ones, and assisting people with their pre-planning needs.
Trent served as a Spanish-speaking missionary in Guatemala for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 2005-2007.
After graduating with a Business Management degree from Brigham Young University-Idaho in 2010, Trent returned to Washington and continued his work in funeral service. In 2013, Trent was blessed with the opportunity to oversee Funeral Alternatives of Washington, a rapidly growing funeral home with multiple locations in the Puget Sound area.

Allie was
raised and attended school in the Spokane Valley area. She started working for
Hennessey Valley Funeral Home in 2000, while attending the Community Colleges
of Spokane to earn her A.A. towards a degree in Social Work. At that time she
worked as a Receptionist, Bookkeeper and met with families as an Apprentice
Funeral Director. She had the privilege of working with Mr. Chuck Hennessey,
and fondly remembers his smile, charisma and positive energy.
Allie left
Hennessey’s in 2005, to focus on caring for her new family. During that time,
she volunteered for the Spokane County Juvenile Court and served the community
as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for Abused and Neglected children. She
later went on to work for several Non-Profits, and served children and their families,
as well as the elder population here in Spokane. She has worked for Human
Resource, Quality and in Project Management.
In 2023,
Allie was called back into service at Hennessey Valley Funeral Home. She
considers it a great honor, to be entrusted with the care of families and their
loved ones. Allie lost her mother at a young age, and because she wasn’t
allowed to view the body and didn’t attend a Service, she found it difficult to
move through her grief. She learned the significance of a visual confirmation
of death when saying goodbye and the healing that comes from honoring a life
lived, in a unique and meaningful way. She finds purpose in helping those we
serve, create memorable experiences that will last them a lifetime.
